Introduction

Project Story

Wicki Forst is a long-established Swiss company in the forestry and workwear sector. The project was a full rebuild of their online store on Shopify, less a visual refresh and more a ground-up restructuring of how the business sells online. That meant rethinking the product architecture, redefining checkout flows, shipping logic, and operational processes, and making sure everything was set up to support real logistics workflows and future marketing activities. For a company with a broad, practical customer base, usability and reliability weren't nice-to-haves. The shop had to just work, clearly and without friction, for people who aren't browsing for fun. My role spanned concept, UX and UI design, and technical implementation within Shopify. Working across all three meant I could make decisions that held up end-to-end rather than handing off designs that didn't account for platform constraints. The result is a stable, maintainable shop that fits the straightforward, no-nonsense character of the Wicki Forst brand.
